Street Prayer Requests 4.18.14

I love Easter! Side streets was great this week. Everyone we met loved the Easter cup treats we handed out. Most people’s faces lit up. They were surprised and grateful for our generosity in providing the Easter cups. A few people even said they were hoping or praying  that they would get Easter candy somehow. We met this one group of 3 guys that really touched our hearts and was like an Easter miracle to one of our team members. Antoinette remembered meeting this man named Scott a few months ago he was dirty, crying and laying on the floor. Friday was the first time we have seen him since that encounter. He looked so much better and feels much better too. He wants to spread the love of God and help others. His friend Aaron who was with him is one of the people he is trying to help. Aaron is a musician and he feels defeated and he doesn’t think he has a future. We prayed for him for his talents to be even more developed, for God to show him love and open doors and protection. Jerry was the other man that we met with that group he is almost 70 and we prayed for youth and strong body and health.

We also saw Jake he remembered we were coming at an earlier time and was glad to see us and get the beautiful Easter cups! He told me this would be the week he would come to Church and I encouraged him in that. And Praise Jesus, Jake came to the 6pm service!

Those are the ones I remember I know we had more. Antoinette and Hillyer help me out with the names and prayer requests of the other people we met on side streets.

I also want to share DanChan, Antoinette and I went to McDonald’s after the Good Friday service and gave away the rest of the Easter cups that were in my car. The homeless inside McDonald’s loved it. And when I pointed to the Easter invite in the cups most of them pointed across the street with a smile and said that Church! People started to call and wave us over to them so they could get an Easter cup too! It was an honor to be a blessing to those in our Church neighborhood please be praying for those we met in McDonald’s too. I don’t have their names but God knows their names! 🙂

I hope all of you had a great Easter! Love you!
