Street Prayer Requests 4.11.14

This Friday one of the friends I’ve made out on the streets let me know he’d be leaving town for good and it was a lot harder than I thought it’d be. I get so used to seeing all their faces or hearing about them that I never thought about how to say goodbye. Each Friday could very well be the last night we see Jake our beautiful creative, or Jose our faith filled prayer warrior, or whoever it is that holds that special place in your heart. It’s made me realize how truly precious each interaction is, no matter how short or long, no matter if it goes well or not. We’ve been gifted with getting to know these people that millions have passed by. We’ve been gifted with getting to pray for them as well. Let’s pray for them this week, and every week, as if it were our last opportunity to hear their specific needs and raise our voices to the God who hears.
