Prayer Requests:

Jose was writing a letter for his son Jason who lives in Jersey City. We prayed for the safety of his son and for them to be closer.

As they prayed with Jose, a man named Michael passed us. The team felt a strong call to pray for him. He was so happy that we asked him. He held their hands so tight and asked us to pray for his salvation and for God to keep him safe. He told us that he really needed that and thanked us for coming after him.

The team met Taz and Kelly, a couple of friends, who were so happy for the bags of food and blankets we gave them.

John was dressed as one of the Hollywood blvd characters. He asked us to pray for those in need and told us how blessed he is to be able to work as a character.

B-Fit and Dee were happy to get candy.

Michael said he didn’t need prayer, but that he would be praying for us. He was very thankful for the bag of food we gave him.

Gilbert has a job that will allow him to come back if he is able to take a shower. He asked us to pray for that and for his relationship with his dad.

Cora asked us to pray that her belongings will be returned to her and for justice to be served.

Billy was grateful for the snacks and shirt we gave him.

We prayed for Olivia. She had gotten hurt. She was happy to see us and gave us all hugs.

Elizabeth was thankful for the emergency blankets and bag of food we gave her.

L.C. was panhandling between cars, in a wheelchair outside of our Church. We gave him a bag of food and asked if he’d ever been to service. He was not interested in coming but we are continuing to pray for him.

We left a bag of food for a man who was sleeping. We later saw him awake and enjoying the food. He was smiling and talking with his friend ‘Happy Knuckles Angry Elbows.’

Met Kevin who gives the best bear hugs. He took a bag of food and asked if he wanted any prayer. He said that his prayers were answered already by the team showing up again this week. He had met us for the first time last week.

Jake had a friend named Brandon talking with him. Jake still desires his own place and wants us to pray for protection from the B.I.D. security officers and the police.

Joshua and Thomas ran up to the team while they were talking with Jake. They recognized the green shirts and knew we had bags of food. They were high and strung out on something, but very thankful for the bags of food.

Pastor Bruce and Heather are still in town. They came by the table at Hollywood & Highland. They were given some bags of food and blankets and chatted for a bit.

Paul came by and asked for prayer for him throughout the week. He also received a bag of food.

Gary is a backpacker, but was happy to receive a bag of food. He asked for prayer for safety as he travels to his next destination.

Saw Gary again and saw that he had made a new friend. His friend’s name is David and he was very excited, yet humbled, to receive the bag of food we gave him. David also asked us to pray for his health and safety.

Nick, who is also called Vacancy has two dogs. He was writing music and playing a small guitar. Pray with him for safety throughout the night.

Kevin is a believer. He and his friend, who didn’t tell us his name, were taking care of their friend Steve’s dog because Steve was recently arrested. We gave them some bags of food and prayed for God to watch over them and Steve. Kevin said, “I am only part of one gang and that’s God’s!”.

Philbert asked for prayer for him to have a place to sleep. He was very humbled to receive the bag of food.

**And here are a few that did not make it onto last week’s prayer request list:

Joseph is a driver from Uber. He asked us for a bag of food and was very thankful for what the team does. He asked us to pray for financial support.

We gave Malachi a couple bags of food so his girlfriend could have one too.

Lebron asked for prayer for patience. We were able to give him two bags of food.

Steward didn’t want any prayer, but we were able to give him a bag of food.

Gregorio, a Latino man, was selling roses. He didn’t want any prayer, but he did take a bag of food.

Bruce asked for prayer for favor in the news channel project he is working on.

Coyote and Brent asked for prayer for protection and were thankful for the bags of food.

Michael was very thankful for the bag of food. He asked for prayer for his sister.

Dino asked for prayer for his wife, who left him the same day his mother passed away. He also told us that he is being followed by a psychopath and asked for prayer that the situation stop. He seemed a little clouded in his thinking.

Thank you for joining in prayer with us!
