We were small in numbers this week, but mighty in love! Let’s keep the love of God spreading to everyone we met by lifting them up in our prayers daily. It had to have been a hard week dealing with both the rain and the Oscars back-to-back. Let’s pray for an extra dose of comfort, and that they find rest, and peace in knowing they are loved by an amazing God. Let’s stand on this scripture as we interceed for them.
Isaiah 32:18
My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.
Met Jason who wants prayer for shelter and provision.
Met Cecil. She wants prayer for shelter and safety.
Met Jason and Dro who are traveling together. They were so happy and grateful to receive socks and food.
Met James who wants direction from God and shelter.
Met Kim, who is not homeless, but is having surgery next week. Her parents are coming in from Kansas to support her. She took some socks, a scarf, a hat, and let us pray with her.
Met David while he was waiting for the bus. He mentioned that he knew Vicky, one of our team members, when we approached him. David took a bag of food and asked for general prayer.
Met another David tonight. He was wearing an orange rain coat and wanted prayer for this weekend. He took some Milky Way bites.
Seth and Gia came by the table at Sunset and Vine and took some food and water. They didn’t want prayer, but let’s pray for them anyway because they are loved.
Met Simon who wanted to have a theological discussion. We gave him a bag of food.
Met a large group of five, including Crow, who we haven’t seen in a long time. None of them wanted prayer, but we were able to give them all bags of food.
Met a man in a wheelchair who only has one leg. he didn’t want prayer for anything, but we were able to give him a bag of food.
Met Lumpy. He wanted prayer for peace. He was grateful for the bag of food and socks we gave him.
Met Derrick who’s been selling umbrellas on the blvd.
Met Jeff. His Dad recently died and he wants prayer for both him and his Mom.
Saw Colombo tonight. His wife Gloria was murdered. He wants prayer to be able to give it to God and also to be comfor
